Showing a film is a great way to explain the issue of debt. On this page you will find a range of films which you can use as part of your worship.

Toxic Debt
This 2 minute film shows a clear case for debt cancellation, and compares the cost of debt relief to the banking bailouts received in 2008.

USE FOR: A simple way to show that there is still a clear need for debt cancellation. Show it as part of debt-focussed worship and hand out Jubilee campaigning resources (we can send them to you) or use it as inspiration to write a group letter.

Debtris UK
A quick and fun way to put debt in perspective by comparing it with global finance. Sound is a must!

USE FOR: A way of illustrating the vast figures involved in global economics. Show it at the start of worship as a way of introducing the topic. Especially good for children, or groups who are new to the issues.

Debtocracy
A feature-length film which looks at the problems of debt in Greece. Covering the history of global debt and the problems caused by the influences of international financial institutions. Fully available online and free to show.
